I've cheated on my spouse! Doctor please help me! Check me into rehab!
Tiger went to rehab. Jesse James is in rehab. Even Charlie Sheen is in rehab. Seriously, people. Do you really think the problem lies in an addiction to sex? Whatever happened to good old-fashioned values? Whatever happened to "til death do us part"? Whatever happened to "I'm sorry but I'm married"?
Addicted to sex? Whatever. All human beings are addicted to sex. It is ingrained in us to ensure survival of our species. Do these men really think they are enjoying something more than the rest of our species?
Perhaps there is more to the rehab than just curing an addiction to sex. Perhaps they help their patients with basic morals and values. Hopefully they find out what these people are missing in their lives that propels them to self-destruct.
When they find out what's missing, I hope they share it with the rest of the species. This addiction is spreading.

Here we go again!!
As a society haven’t we read enough about Tiger Woods to be sick of hearing about the infidelities of famous people? I know that I have, personally. The newest scandal revolves around the affair of Jesse James, husband of Sandra Bullock. This story seems to mirror the Tiger Woods controversy. Franky, I could care less.
What I really want to talk about are the women that are having affairs with these married men. The “mistresses” of Tiger Woods have been in the spotlight as much as Tiger. They have been rewarded with notoriety for their actions. The same can be said if the “girlfriends” of Jesse James. I have stated in a previous blog that I do not feel sorry for these men. Multiply that emotion by a thousand to see how I feel about the women they are sleeping with!
Why do these women feel the need to have an affair with a married man? Do they think they will become famous? Do they think the men will actually leave their wives for them? Was their childhood so troubled that they need to act out against society’s norms to achieve pleasure? Did their parents not teach them right from wrong? Did they witness their own father’s having affairs? I would love to have an in depth conversation with these women to find out what their thought pattern was.
I truly believe that if we teach our children that relationships with married people are wrong, we can eliminate many of the affairs of tomorrow. It goes way beyond that, of course. Children need to learn compassion, empathy, and a myriad of other values as well. The bottom line for me is that if we eliminate the women that are willing to have affairs with married men, then the majority of the problem is solved!
